Thanksgiving the Official Kick off – Nov 28

It all officially begins American Thanksgiving, just the way it did in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. This event is a pot luck, with everyone to bring a dish and some wine. Some volunteers will be needed by about 3 pm, with main dinner starting from 5;30 so there is plenty of time for seconds! Seating limited to 16, contact Nic to see if there is space left!

Prospect Play House Community Christmas – Nov 29th

Christmas Eve Wine & Cheese at Bahia

Christmas Lunch at Morgans

For those of us unable (or un-interested) in cooking on Christmas Day, we will instead head to Morgan’s restaurant. The vibe is slow mo, the food is excellent, and everyone gets a Christmas Cracker. A true Caribbean Christmas Day and a day to be merry, if only Tiny Tim could have lived to see it.

Golf Day

A just for fun golf tournament full of holiday sprit. No matter your skill level, teams will be random draw and the game will be played as a scramble. Drinking penalty rules will be circulated before tee off. This isn’t the day your detox starts! 18 holes from 1 pm with burgers and beers to finish. Subject to minimum numbers and advance booking. Looking for a co-organizer to volunteer hopefully named Phil.

FIDEL’s New Years Day

The worst thing about a New Year’s Day hang over is having to go through it alone! well not today Bobo. Fidel’s has a great Bloody Caeser (top 5 rated) and it will cure the sore head! Meanwhile the breakfast fry up (or butter chicken half, half, if you are so inclined….) will cure the rest. Its like i always say. Start as you mean to go on!!

BRUNCH on a BOAT

Saturday – January 4th 9:30 am to 1 pm

This is a friendly reminder of how lucky we are to live in the Cayman Islands. Setting off from the yacht club at 9:30 am, the weather is perfect for a morning sail! Bring your own beverages and a pot luck dish, as the mimosas will start soon after departure with food set up inside the boat for a buffet brunch throughout the morning. It is the holiday season, so the boat rental is $100 per person, and subject to minimum head count. Contact Nic to RSVP
